I recently had the pleasure of working with School of The Mind, and I can say with confidence that they are an outstanding company. Their use of Dungeons and Dragons as a tool for community engagement is both unique and effective, allowing them to create a space where creativity and imagination can flourish. The team at School of The Mind has a clear passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of how to utilize this medium to promote personal growth and development in their clients. Overall, I highly recommend School of The Mind for anyone looking for a fresh and innovative approach to community engagement and personal growth.

School of the Mind has definitely been a great experience thus far. It is a fun interactive experience, and every session leaves me with a renewed thirst for adventure. The campaign I am currently a part of is not only fun, it has helped me a lot in real life. It's helped me improve my relationships inside and outside of the game, and is teaching me to work well with others and make constructive decisions.
One other thing I love about School of the Mind is how much it builds my creativity and imagination. I'm a fiction writer, so every session gives me so much inspiration for characters and plot ideas.

It was really fun! The GM kept the story moving and made sure that we were enjoying the game. I really liked the thought and work that obviously was placed into the story/gameplay. You could tell there was time spent on making it enjoyable and interesting. Definitely a ten out of ten, would highly recommend.

"My experience with School of the Mind has been incredible! I can not put it any other way. I have played the 'Two Crowns' campaign with my two sisters, my dad, and my mom. That was when I first got interested in Table-Top Role Playing Games. Then I got together with a small group to play another School of the Mind campaign. Â From the very beginning, just hearing the idea bewildered me. The founder is a GENIUS. I have really enjoyed creating my own campaign, which is called "The 12 Shards of Rohan." Creating my own campaign has also helped me appreciate and understand how much work and planning it takes to create your own campaign. I really recommend using School of the Mind as a Role-Playing game based learning association, so you can have a way to keep clean language, have fun, make friends and learn all at the same time."

"My favorite thing about our sessions in Lost Cities 2330 is that we get to work together and get things done just like in books I have read. It's like a whole other world to experience! These sessions have helped me in my real world, too. First of all, I have something to do on Saturdays (because that's when we play the game), and I don't end up loafing around all day and accomplishing nothing. Secondly, this Lost Cities 2330 campaign is actually based on relationships, and every week we try to strengthen one relationship that exists in our real world. I have successfully built upon 3 relationships so far - and it's going great! In this campaign I am learning many things, including the fact that you should not leave a small dog in your backpack for 3 days. Our game moderator is funny and kind, but still keeps us on task. Thanks to him, we have met both a gremlin and a triceratops within the span of 2 Lost Cities days.
My group in Lost Cities 2330 is composed of two ogres, a goblin, and a human. We work together pretty well and we have had only a few friendly arguments.
Overall this game is super helpful and fun, and not a waste of time or money!"

"Our School of the Mind Game Moderator was a very captivating storyteller, who took us on an adventurous team building quest though an imaginary world full of wonders and perils, friends and foes, and opportunities to discover and develop truly heroic attributes. I really enjoyed being on a team. When one of our party members died, one of our team-members was truly saddened, even to the point of tears. Â I was impressed at the degree that we had come to feel for the characters in this story, and that we were able to process loss in this way, even through the loss of a fictitious character. Â I think the sessions helped me because of the social interaction and to be able to make decisions. Â I learned better about what attributes and strengths I have and how I can use those in a given situation. Â I also learned about how my weaknesses can be overcome or avoided by myself, by my team, and through the recognition of our various strengths."

Honestly School of The Mind has help me exercise different areas of my creative brain. Problem solving, character, etc. But also the real life aspects you ask us to pursue on top of that make it a little more applicable to irl work too.
